The Resilience and Inspiration of Children in Freedom Schools

Yesterday, Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. Magoha held a high profile CBC review meeting at KICD Kenya. We are profoundly honoured that one of our parents at Children In Freedom School, Mrs Nyaboke Kerama, was invited as a resource person. Her expertise stemmed from an entrepreneurship training that our school hosted in 2020, after which her son Kerama (9yrs) established a fruit juice business out of his love for cooking. Mrs Kerama shared about Children In Freedom School's success with the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC), and about how she supported her children to execute CBC activities and homework at home.
We thank God for this great progress. Our parents are now resource persons for the government. #chemachajiuza
